Couldn't agree more. My goal for my efficiency consulting clients is for them to be in a position to leave for Paris in under 56 minutes - any time they choose - which is symbolic of being ready for anything *and* leading a happy, spontaneous, varied existence. (I haven't actually been to Paris but I've left in under an hour for Japan and Germany, not to mention many domestic trips.)
